Roma in Rothenburg

Nice cafe, very friendly and delicious

In order to support the local gastronomy in the difficult time of the 2nd lockdown, I made my way to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, 20 km away, to pick up good food at the Pizzeria Roma. Telephone ordering worked very well with a very friendly employee and the pizzas ordered were all ready at the agreed time. The pizza is a normal size (26 cm) with a crispy base and was well topped. Unfortunately the diavolo was not really sharp, as a connoisseur of a diavolo would wish for more sharpness. Very nice and friendly staff and an extremely nice boss. The pick-up area is separated from the restaurant, a big plus is that you don't have to stand in the cold or in the rain / snow in a kind of lobby. What I've seen from the new restaurant area is this very cozy and chic. I'm looking forward to visiting the Roma again and dining there.

Normally there should be minus stars, because if everything is ready for 30 minutes when you order and then you have to hang on for another 30 minutes in the local area, that's sad. Then the pizzas were cold and the noodles were still hot then you know that the kitchen is overwhelmed and has no schedule, the salmon noodles were salty until it was no longer inedible

Unfortunately, I made a mistake in the rating, I accidentally rated the wrong location. Unfortunately, I don't know this place. But I will visit it the next time I visit rothenburg.

The best restaurant in Rothenburg. Pleasant atmosphere, the nicest staff and the prices are OK. The food leaves nothing to be desired, every time fresh and very tasty. Anyone who comes once will definitely come more often.

The pizza was unfortunately below average. Likewise, I was first brought a wrong dish and was not even apologized but only reluctantly withdrew the dish and did the right thing. My girlfriend's pasta dish was great, that's why I give it 3 out of 5 stars.

Top Italian with the best pizza I've ever eaten and probably the best rump steak I've eaten too. The service is very attentive and super friendly. If we go to Rothenburg again, we will definitely eat there again.

The pizza was really great. The service was friendly and responded to my needs very well. The corona regulations were adhered to and still you didn't feel uncomfortable. Should you ever be in the area, it is definitely a recommendation?

We visited Rothenburg in early February and ate. There were not many people on weekday afternoon, but the food was delicious and cheaper than expected. It was a nice and neat place and I don't know when it will be, but I would love to go again if I visit Rothenburg again.

The best tomato soup

We stumbled in here after a long plane trip and various train connections. The wait staff was friendly and helpful , providing good menu suggestions. The spaghetti carbonera was excellent!!

Taglietelle Fungi pasta (if too like little more soft) and Gorgonzola Pizza (with blue cheese) were really good. Pesto penne was Aldente and tasty too... The staff was very friendly. It was our second time here... We will come again...

This place was really good. Ordered tomato soup and it was some of the best soup I have ever had. We also ordered pizza and pasta. All was delicious. And affordable.

This is an Italian restaurant with good food and good service. I have had the pizza and several pasta dishes. They were all very good. The staff is usually very good, but sometimes they get overwhelmed with customers, so you must be a little more patient with them. The restaurant is a relatively small place, so during peak hours it can get full.

Good variety of choices, rivisited a bit on German style but still good Italian restaurant. Open till later than usual german closing time

Loved the ambiance, food. Especially turkey musroom sause combo with pommes and salad ?. Do try sweet wine here.

The place and the food were nice, but.. The waiter brought bruscetas that we didn't order before the main dishes arrived. We thought it was kind of compliment from the restaurant but in the end bruscetas were included in the bill. The price was not that high but I got the feeling that the restaurant wants to increase the bill by all means.. Disappointment.

We enjoyed the service and the food. We ordered Spaghetti alla Putanesca (very spicy) and Tagliatelle al Salmone (very light), two beers: Kellerbier and Dunkel. We paid for everything 23.50 euros. The menu was only in native German and English, we suggest to offer in Portuguese (PT) too.

Was In town for the day, and the Italian food by way of Germany intrigued me. Food was Steller!

Food is good. Nice service and they speak English, Spanish, Italian, German and many more. Place is nice and cozy giving you the sensation you are in Italy (if you been there). I definitely going back. The Pomodoro soup is pretty good and thd Hawaiian Pizza ?

Service is so slow. Ok I get it very popular place and crowded but they need to solve service problem. The personel is very nice espically the old guy.

I had pizza with kapari, garlic, onion, salami and blue cheese. It was delicious. Very fast service. They have affordable prices (pizza starts from 5 EUR to cca 10 EUR). I drank the local radler which was really refreshing. I will visit this place next time again ;-) And they have some tables outside on the street, too!
